About Me

My photo
My excessive energy, extreme narcissism, and intense love of neon-colored spandex is both managed and fueled by my addiction to fitness. I push myself to extremes and I push other people's buttons. Obviously I needed my own blog.

Weight Loss Wednesday 5.30.18

I survived two days in a Ford Expedition with my parents, aunt, and uncle as we drove around Iowa and Missouri. And somehow I consumed my weight in Crunchy Cheetos but I came home at the same weight as when I left.

That's me shoved in the way back with all the luggage. Sadly that is a plastic pin full of fake floral arrangements and not a margarita maker.

Hero WOD Riley

CrossFit HQ posted the hero WOD Riley for September 27 and it caught my eye. CrossFit Identity programmed it for September 30 and I am honored to have had the opportunity to perform the workout.

It is important to honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for us. We are damn lucky to live in a country where women are able to lift barbells while wearing very tiny shorts in gyms where men respect us as equals and don't see us as property.

#QUADZILLA

I love Saturday WODs at CFID because we do partner WODs. Today I teamed up with Tracy and we kicked ass if you ask me.

My wonderful friend Brittany sent me a wonderful present - a tank top that says #QUADZILLA from Stupid Easy Paleo. It was a big hit at the box today. We did a variation of the hero WOD Nukes and it took quadzilla quads to power through it. I always try to give my best at CrossFit, but I feel that I must give my all during a hero WOD.
